Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.As Manager, Tax Global Indirect Tax Sabrix you will be responsible, in collaboration with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team, for ensuring that Cytiva complies with all Indirect Tax obligations globally. You will be responsible for ensuring that our tax determination engine is maintained and that indirect tax rule changes are incorporated in a timely manner. You will understand our Indirect Tax processes to identify issues in the engine and ensure that these are resolved in a timely manner. You will work with project teams to support changes driven by business change and tax legislative changes.This position reports to the Director, Tax Indirect Tax Sabrix and is part of the Global Indirect Tax Team and will be located in India as an onsite position based at Cytiva Bangalore offices. • You will be responsible for the daily operation of our tax determination engine, ensuring that issues are resolved and that the correct tax determination is achieved as defined by the Global Indirect Tax Team.
• You will be the single point of contact for all escalations relating to our tax determination engine. You will ensure that the business is supported throughout the different time zones and that any P1 issues are resolved quickly and effectively. You will be responsible for communicating issues with relevant stakeholders and working with the Global Indirect Tax Leader you will be responsible for the implementation of any mitigation plan.
• You will manage a small team ensuring that they are completing tasks timely and you will liaise with stakeholders across the business to identify projects which may affect the tax determination systems and processes. You will lead the implementation of projects from a tax determination perspective working with the other Indirect Tax Team members to define the requirements, execute a testing plan and ultimately implement any changes.
• You will support the Global Indirect Tax Leader in budgeting for changes relating to tax determination costs and lead the relationship with Thomson Reuters on a daily basis.
• You will ensure that integration projects are staffed so that tax determination where affected is included in design. You will be responsible for developing strategy to ensure that testing is completed and ensuring the system changes are effectively documented.

Who you are

• You will have a Bachelors degree and have at least 3 years experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment.
• You will demonstrate an excellent knowledge in tax systems, specifically Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Determination (Sabrix) and be able to demonstrate experience of maintaining and integrating this for a business operating in the Biotechnology sector.
• You will have a proven track record of being able to work independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress.
• You will have experience of SAP/Oracle and integrating these systems with Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Determination.
• You will have a working knowledge of Indirect Taxes and be able to demonstrate how they are collected and charged to customers. You will demonstrate a keen interest in Indirect Tax process improvement.
