If you are up to the challenge and want to be a part of a team that makes history, then this job might be for you.About the TeamWe are looking for engineers who are passionate about working on scalable, reliable distributed systems. You will be part of the team which owns the X-Ray product at Nutanix and work on developing performance, scalability, and resiliency automated benchmarking software that demonstrates the capabilities of an enterprise platform. Youll have the opportunity to develop backend and frontend software for a complex application deployed on-premise and run as-a-service on the cloud. Youll work with other engineers across the stack as well as product management and other product teams at Nutanix to deliver the latest functionality for the product.Your Role

  • Work on next-generation enterprise performance and resiliency benchmarking software.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality, for both on-premise and as-a-service deployment models as part of a cross-functional, agile development team.
  • Work with product management, other engineers, and teams to understand requirements and build the latest capabilities.
  • Build industry knowledge and experience within public/private cloud, HCI, storage, hypervisors, and networking domains.
  • Provide excellent support for the product by engaging with customers, partners, and support.
  • Work on various web, backend technologies, automated tests, and CI/CD.
What You Will Bring
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 2 -3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Python programming, particularly in the areas around web technologies and frameworks (Django / REST APIs)
  • Proficiency in Node.js backend
  • Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with virtualized infrastructure (Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, KVM)
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure (storage, networking, compute)
  • Prior experience in building high-performance and secure APIs, full stack engineering including frontend, backend, databases, network, and DevOps.
  • Love of programming with the demonstrated ability and passion to solve complex problems within an Agile development team
