This storage stack is the foundational piece to enable hyper-convergence and hybrid cloud solutions. The software-defined storage helps us power infrastructure for all kinds of applications on all kinds of platforms. That coupled with a simplicity-focused design makes the engineering problem both profound and rewarding. The engineer will take responsibility for end-to-end quality and work with a team, with a deep understanding of systems internals and distributed systems.About the TeamThe CDP team was the first team created at Nutanix. The team is responsible for the Nutanix Distributed Storage Fabric (NDSF) - a high-performance shared-nothing distributed file system.We are hiring for the Curator team within the CDP umbrella. Curator is a background MapReduce-style execution framework for Cluster management tasks, in the context of a distributed storage system used in enterprise Clusters.Teams primary technology stack: C , PythonMeet the hiring managerAnoop Menon, Senior Engineering Manager in the Core Data Path team:As a Senior Engineering Manager at Nutanix, I contribute to developing Nutanixs Distributed Storage solution as part of the Core Data Path (CDP) team.   • Design and develop reliable, efficient, high-performance software for large-scale enterprise and hybrid cloud.
  • Develop an understanding of complex distributed systems and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.
  • Work on performance, scaling out, and resiliency of distributed storage systems.
  • Work alongside development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues.
What You Will Bring
  • Completion of a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field is required.
  • Familiarity with OS internals, distributed systems, and good practices for design/implementation.
  • Hungry and humble attitude with a keen sense of working as part of a dynamic team.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Work ArrangementHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration.
