Develop custom tools and integration with existing tools to increase engineering productivity.
Lead Design and Architecture for your product and features & own the complete roadmap. Hands-on coding in JAVA and microservices domain for complex and critical features.
Design, develop, test, and maintain Kubernetes operators to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of complex applications on Kubernetes clusters.
Implement best practices for coding and design via efficient code reviews.
Driving initiatives for improving services, enhancing user experience and quality.
Mentor team and work towards collaborative efforts for driving projects within organization.
Support engineering teams in the implementation of life-cycle infrastructure solutions and documentation operations in order to meet the engineering departments quality and standards.
Work with Product Managers while interacting with clients and simplify requirements into user stories for team to work upon.
Help solve business needs with technology by evaluating technology options and implementing newer technology stacks.
Work with the Engineering managers and product management to build a roadmap for the team.

Who are we looking for

8-12 years of relevant work experience.
Hands-on coding in Go Programming Language or JAVA and microservices domain for complex and critical features.
Deep understanding of OOAD, efficient data structures and algorithms.
Experience in working on Java, Spring, REST, SQL (PostgreSQL or MYSQL) Messaging systems like Kafka etc, ELK stack, microservices is required.
Public and Private cloud solutions (Any of AWS, GCP, Azure, Openshift, DIY clouds etc).
Good understanding of Distributed systems and micro-service based architectures.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts and CNCF ecosystem covering Service meshes, Secret Management, CI/CD etc.
Experience building custom controllers, operators, and custom resources definitions (CRDs) using Kubernetes client libraries.
Prior experience in building products on a Kubernetes Platform. Experience with CI/CD practices in a Kubernetes environment, Deployment patterns and relevant toolsets.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and agile software development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud-native ecosystem tools such as Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Istio etc.
CKAD certification is a Bonus.
Observability practices and toolchains (Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing).
