Thats why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimageable with us.Your Role:Evaluation & Execution of New Products and Site Transfer Products

  • a) Detailed evaluation of the process with respect to unit operations.
  • b) Evaluation of the process with respect to Process Safety and Environment.
  • c) Analyzing the availability of the plant and infrastructure within the entire site.
  • d) Mapping (Equipment selection, stoichiometry, ratios, unit operation time, utility requirement, process flow diagram, effluent load, RM consumption, yield improvement) of the process in the available plant and then evaluation of requirements.
  • e) Coordination with the Cross Functional Teams including Global Teams to give the final evaluation with Investment and timeline.
  • f) Effectively leading product transfer at site & Technology absorption from giving site.
  • g) Project Management skills for the entire activity for the successful completion of the project.
  • h) Preparation of the documents required for statutory permissions.
  • i) Coordination with the cross-functional teams including Global teams (EHS, RA, R&D, QC, SCM, etc.) to provide accurate approach for the Implementation.
  • j) RM requirement evaluation and vendor approval activity coordination.
  • k) Scale-up study & Equipment Equivalence studies like distillation, evaporator, mass transfer equipment.
  • l) Study of available safety data and its implementation in the plant.
  • m) Responsible for conducting Hazop Studies and providing all the desired information.
  • n) Responsible for Pre-validation/Validation batches in Plant & Proper documentation.
  • o) Ability to interpret technical documentation such as piping and instrumentation diagrams, standard operating procedures, interlocks, and control narrative, etc.
  • p) Hands-on experience of running all Hazardous analysis equipment like DSC & RC, ARC, MIE testing equipment, Adiabatic Calorimeter, CFD.
Supporting Commercial Products:
  • a) Identifying & executing opportunities for capacity improvement and cost reduction.
  • b) Evaluation of the products in different plants as per market requirements.
  • c) Preparation of Equipment equivalency for any Equipment change/change Management.
  • d) Active participation for troubleshooting in the plant for any process-related issue.
  • e) Coordination for developing safety data for the old Commercial products.
  • f) Specification approval based on RA/Customer request.
Who You Are:Education:
  • B. Tech/BE/MTech in Chemical Engineering; strong knowledge of chemicals and unit operation equipment.
Working Experience:
  • 10 years experience in Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, or equivalent field.
  • 5 years experience as a Process Engineer.
  • Project (multi-function team) leading experience.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Project management skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English & Good Presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Chemical Process, risk evaluation & mitigation, Plant, Technology Transfer Procedure, and GMP along with effective coordination with Cross Functions.
