Job Description

Qualification: Any DegreeExperience: 3 - 5 yearsNo. of Vacancy: 1Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Design and implement robust APIs and web services.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless user experiences.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Skills
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Vue.js.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of background job processing frameworks like Sidekiq or Resque.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git/GitHub.
  • Understanding of testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets.
  • Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
