We have the best SAP talents in our field taking on challenging global assignments across the Volvo Group. Leveraging on their SAP skills combined with a very good understanding of the Volvo processes and IT solutions, we deliver concrete SAP solutions and provide added value to the Volvo Group through Tech-watch and Proof of Concepts.We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group IT and business organizations. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together!This is how you could make an impactAs our employee you will:

  • Lead technical projects with strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborate globally to design, develop, and enhance software in S/4HANA.
  • Work with Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders on design and code reviews.
  • Tackle complex functional requirements.
  • Create and review design and technical documentation.
  • Apply clean code principles: code reviews, inspections, unit testing, performance measurements, and quality tasks.
  • Perform development tasks independently, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Mentor team members and be a go-to expert.
  • Stay updated on SAP solutions and technologies, especially S/4HANA and cloud offerings.
  • Present SAP updates to global communities within Volvo Group.
  • Develop and improve SAP implementation standards for Volvo.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years of SAP experience, including 4 years as a full stack SAP developer.
  • Working experience with S/4 HANA is essential.
  • Proven experience in SAP projects and support roles across multiple solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with new edge ABAP developments: BAS, Eclipse, GitHub
  • Strong knowledge of back-end technologies: SAP ABAP, ABAP ON HANA, NetWeaver Gateway ODATA services, CDS Views, HANA DB, Data Modelling.
  • Experience with integration scenarios: IDocs, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), OData, CI, REST API.
  • Front-end technologies: SAP FIORI, SAP UI5.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages like JavaScript is a plus.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies like Scrum.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and customer-facing roles.
  • Focus on security aspects, including security testing with various tools and frameworks.
  • Good presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Strong educational qualifications (Bachelors degree in Engineering or MCA).
