Reporting to Sr. Manager, Security Research, youll be responsible for:

  • The security researcher will conduct pen testing on Zscaler Applications and infrastructure.
  • Conduct Security Architecture reviews and provide recommendations.
  • Help prioritize vulnerabilities for engineering and operations team and work on security automation.
What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Experience of 6 years in the relevant field.
  • Expertise in Thick client pen testing - Win, Mac, Linux, Android & iOS.
  • Experience with Security Architecture reviews in network security, complex thick client and web applications.
  • Must have fundamentals in security concepts, cryptography, Unix architecture, and networking.
  • Must validate findings, perform root cause analysis and deliver recommendations for fixes.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience in manual security assessments using industry-leading tools for web applications, thick client and APIs. Publication of CVEs, CTF, Red teaming background and exploits development are desirable.
  • Must be able to read and debug popular programming languages (C/C , Java, JavaScript, etc.) and identify security weaknesses.
  • Must have good scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks.
