Job Description

Your Jobi) To plan and implement Quality assurance system specific to the process in line with organization QMS and Business objectives in Assemblyii) To understand and implement customer specific requirements in the organization.iii) To monitor and review the current process performance and work with the manufacturing team in addressing the concerns / improvements in Assembly.iv) Training and Development of subordinates in measurement and QMS.v) To implement effective inspection process in Assembly Dept. & ensure zero slippages to customers. Work with SQA in addressing the identified RM related concerns effectively.vi) Handle the customer complaint related to Assembly Dept.What You Will Do

  1. Ensure completion of day-to-day Process & Product Quality requirements (Timely QM lot clearance, First piece, Patrol and Final inspection as per procedures, ....) and compliance to documented QMS & EMS requirements.
  2. Review of inspection records for accuracy of inspection and also random audit (Inspection) of the reported results to identify gaps if any, drive improvements with identified gaps.
  3. Development of Product specific Quality Checklist, Inspection plan in SAP, Gauges, Workmanship standards and identification of appropriate measuring instruments.
  4. Monitor Product & Process performance trends, analyze the reason for poor performance along with the Operations team & drive for improvements (Review of QAP PPM, QAP $, QN, Block stock..)
  5. Addressing the Quality issues reported by User Departments and disposition of MQRs, Disposal of NC material in shop, Review and disposal of shelf life parts, block stock..)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma (Mech preferable)6 to 8 years Experience in QualityWhat Will Put You Ahead
  1. Candidate should be sound in knowledge of PFC, PFMEA and control Plan
  2. Knowledge on GD&T- Drawing reading
  3. Customer complaint handling and use of 8D methodology
  4. Expert on Root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions
  5. Process Knowledge about Plastic component manufacturing, assembly similar to connectors and other electronics assembly
  6. People management
  7. Cross functional action driving capability
