Job Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. He/She would be responsible for the QA team deliverables. This would be an amazing opportunity to work in Life Sciences & Healthcare domain.We are working on different tools and technologies like Ruby on Rails, Selenium, Python, React, HTML5, Web API, SQL and JavaScript etc. Preferable experience in Javascript based tools; Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest, Jasmine.About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or masters degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in Automation, be it Functional, Performance or Security Testing.
  • Strong experience in any of the three: Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, Nunit, Protractor, TestNG, Gherkins, SoapUI, Python
  • Clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches
  • Have worked and significantly contributed to automation using build pipeline & test phases
  • Demonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwide
  • Good understanding of relational databases and experience working on any one of these: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL
  • Experience working on Automation, Performance testing of API and UI. Experience working on Postman, Karate
  • Good working experience with GIT and understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity, and Azure DevOps
  • Its good to have experience in data delivery testing or validation.
It would be great if you also had:
  • Experience in Azure cloud platform or AWS using Web Apps, Cloud Services.
  • Understanding of Accessibility testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing.
What will you be doing in this roleYou will work closely with the agile team to lead the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. To be successful in this role, you will need strong logical, analytical, and leadership skills to be applied to overcome challenges that arise when working across multiple technologies and cross geographies and cultures. You will harness your creativity to lead the team in delivering quality solutions that consider our users and aim to significantly improve the productivity of their workday.Will be responsible for:
  • Oversee and support creation and designing of test automation frameworks and Proof of Concepts for the latest tools and techniques.
  • Lead delivery of high-quality software for product enhancements that prioritize user experience as a key consideration.
  • Mentor senior and junior members of the team & provide them technical direction.
  • Track and manage delivery of a product end to end with a strong focus on best test practices and reporting.
  • Demonstrate motivation, ownership, compassion, and leadership capabilities within the team.

You would be part of a large team responsible for delivering world-class products and innovative solutions in the field of LS& H (Life Sciences & Healthcare).Hours of WorkThis is a permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in the IST time zone with 9 hours of work per day (12 pm 9 pm IST) including a 1-hour lunch break.
