Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and expertise in delivering scalable, high-quality workflows that enhance business efficiency.ScopeIn this role, you will be involved in working on automation tasks related to ServiceNow. The role may involve developing web and scripting-based automation solutions as well as CI/CD pipelines.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development

  • Develop and configure custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions leveraging ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
Customization and Scripting
  • Write and implement client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow customization elements.
  • Leverage APIs and integration tools to connect ServiceNow with external systems.
Platform Administration
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and support for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage access controls, roles, and permissions to maintain platform security and integrity.
Collaboration
  • Work with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end workflows and integrations.
Testing and Troubleshooting
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Resolve platform issues and optimize performance.
Documentation and Training
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, and workflows.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams as needed.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on implementing and customizing the platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, or other APIs.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Preferred
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, or Service Mapping.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
