Visit our website to learn more!Role Summary & Essential ResponsibilitiesThe Embedded Software Architect is responsible for the software design/implementation phase by performing the following activities: requirement analysis, implementation & tests. In this role, the Embedded Software Architect shall utilize his/her experience and expertise to:

• Design and develop software architectures and source code for the Linux embedded system for passenger information systems
• Coordination of software interface alignments and engage standardizations with software developers, software integrators, method experts, and customers
• Responsible for the technical leadership of a software team
• Mentoring less experienced engineers
• Creating requirements documents.

Qualification / Requirement

• Bachelor / masters in engineering in Computer Science/Electronics engineering
• 9 to 13 years of hands-on experience in complex embedded real-time software design and development

Essential/Desired CharacteristicsKnowledge in computer development:

• Deep understanding of software architecture using UML standards
• Very good knowledge in Cas well as very good knowledge in object-oriented programming
• Very good knowledge of Linux systems
• Deep knowledge in embedded programming Cfor Linux. Experience with Yocto-based systems is a plus
• Clear understanding of driver, hardware abstraction layers, middleware, and application software
• Good analytic skills, goal- and solution-oriented and good ability to make decisions
• A very strong ability to communicate and work in a team
• Excellent knowledge of English
