One of our main tools is the Service Provider Cockpit (SPC), which is the de-facto standard suite for service operations in SAPs major cloud units like S/4HANA, C/4HANA, HANA Enterprise Cloud, HCM, and others. In addition to managing SAPs in-house IaaS platforms, SPC is also used to orchestrate workloads on all major hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP, Ali Cloud). The team drives the design, implementation, and productization of the key lifecycle management services required to drive operations excellence for SAPs cloud delivery.The Role:SPC Ops units key responsibility is to manage and operate various cloud products running on HANA Database for our global on-demand customers. SPC System Operations India is a key location responsible for operating the Service Provider Cockpit. The team needs to ensure the various productive landscapes are running well according to agreed SLAs.Role Requirements:

• Brings technical or application expert knowledge into the operation.
• Takes full responsibility for the quality of the delivered tasks and is accountable for the success.
• Support root cause analysis of complex situations like performance tuning.
• Drive operational efficiency and productization.
• Own operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements.
• Work closely with internal/external stakeholders, development architects/managers & developers, across locations, to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate and contribute toward the organizations goals and objectives, collaborating with multiple teams and solutions.
• Maintain all the instances in the SAP SaaS Cloud landscape.
• Own and handle operational tasks like monitoring/alert handling, incident management, change management, system installation, provisioning, lifecycle management activities like hotfixes/patches and upgrades.
• Support business continuity.

Work Experience:

• Extensive experience in operating/administering SAP Basis/NetWeaver experience.
• Experience and exposure to Cloud Operations, Networking, and Server Management is an advantage.
• Good understanding of virtualization, storage, and network.
• Experience or exposure to SAP HANA or other database technologies is an advantage.
• Understanding of SaaS and Cloud offerings or products, and related processes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IaaS infrastructures and experience in setting up, working in, and managing virtualized landscapes.
• Expertise in SAPs lifecycle management tools as well as SAPs operations and support processes is a plus.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher university Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
• 5 years of experience.
• Expert knowledge of SAP Basis/NetWeaver, Linux, etc.
• Data Center, Networking, and Hyperscaler experience will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of tools like Wily, LaMa.
• Experience with container-based virtualization technologies.
• Exposure to ITIL/ITSM processes is beneficial.
