Job Description

Role Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for the design & delivery of the Pricing solutions for GEHC. You will operate in lock-step with product management to deliver the features based on the descriptive set of requirements. You will partner with the stakeholders to determine and guide on what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt.Essential Responsibilities:- Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements- Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration- Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using People Tools and related technologies (SQRs, Application Engines, CIs, PeopleCode, XML, etc.)- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality- Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions- Partner with Pricing leaders and broader DT team members to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutions- Develop new Pages/Reports/Interfaces and/or guide the vendor on the design & delivery- Develop new application enhancements and/or guide the vendor on the design & delivery- Write technical specifications- Document system changes- Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards- Train/Mentor less experienced resourcesQualifications/Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/related field- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience- Must be willing to travel- Must be willing to work out of an office located in BangaloreDesired Characteristics:- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new concepts and analyze system deficiencies- Passionate about the quality of the applications they support- Organized, thorough, and detail oriented- Collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources- Eager to learn, shares ideas, encourages and accepts feedback well- Strong analytical skills strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve- Interested in current and emerging technologies- Demonstrated customer focus evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes from the customers viewpoint- High level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting- Good experience with SFDC, force.com, apex coding- Experience in areas such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security- Knowledge on database design and architecture- Familiarity with waterfall and iterative software implementation approaches (Agile, XP, DSDM, Lean and FDD)- Proficiency in tools supporting SDLC such as Jira, Rally, Aris, MS Project, SmartSheet, LoadRunner, etc.- Able to work under minimal supervision- Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibilityAbout Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
