He will be responsible to supervise daily activities of the warehouse and effectively handle inventory control and space management within warehouse.This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Management and located in Bangalore manufacturing site.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Plan, organize, manage performance, and direct the activities of stockroom personnel to ensure that they receive, store and issue material as needed to support site revenue plan and schedule
  • Ensure Good Storage practices in all aspects of the warehouse.
  • Accountable for on-time material supply to production.
  • Proactively Identify and resolve Inventory related issues in ERP system (SAP).
  • Should be fully conversant of running store operation including statutory compliance and audit requirements.
  • Root cause analysis and implement counter measures.
  • Ownership of domestic and export shipments from warehouse
  • Reporting requirements completed daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Maintain proper records for entire warehouse operations.
  • Responsible to maintain accurate Inventory in warehouse.
  • Create cross functional synergy between departments (QA, Supply Chain, Facilities, Safety)
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Preferably bachelors degree with good communication skills.
  • Diploma in Warehouse management or Logistics & Supply chain management (optional)
  • 5 years of Industry experience with Manufacturing site at stockroom / warehousing role
  • Experience in Medical, Pharma or Freight forwarding industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PPT and ERP system (SAP)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Working in Manufacturing environment
  • Working in Multiple shifts
