If you are ready to take on a key role in managing our Corporate Facilities (CFA) HQ systems and ensuring their smooth operation, read on and apply today for a life-changing career.About the departmentVault Quality & Facilities IT GBS (VQFIT) is an integral part of Digital Data & IT Staffs Team, which currently consists of highly skilled IT professionals responsible for IT operations for all major Global Quality and Facilities IT systems in Novo Nordisk. The team is responsible for managing day-to-day IT support, development, validation and testing of entire Quality Management System of Novo Nordisk, spanning across entire globe. The key objective of VQFIT is to ensure robust IT support to systems, which in turn ensures product quality and patient safety for Novo Nordisk.The positionAs a System Specialist-I at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing the service level of the Corporate Facilities (CFA) IT systems, including Security like CCTV, Physical access control & alarm handling and Non-Security systems like ewaste management, BMS system.
  • Vendor management and preparing for audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Acting as a key link between support and releases/projects and communicating critical issues and coordinating patch-related activities.
  • Developing IT system strategy in alignment with CFA target architecture and Stakeholder management across the CFA portfolio.
  • Coordinating project management and managing IT operations (ITIL Certified preferred), change, problem, and incident and strong experience in managing IT systems, preferably in a global organization.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, including GDPR and EU regulations.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • Masters/bachelors with 8 to 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or other relevant industry, with at least experience in handling system transitions & have strong awareness on managing IT SOP.
  • Experience in Facilities System like Security System CCTV, Alarm Systems.
  • Must have Knowledge of ITIL, Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
  • Must have knowledge on SQL, Patch Management, Basic server admin, Basic network management & application management.
  • Knowledge on Software Life cycle activities and stakeholder Management, vendor management & Budget Management.
  • Experience with IT project work or IT experience covering specification, design, development, or implementation of IT solutions.
  • Experience from working in service level-based organizations and managing service level agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Experienced in the use of office desktop applications and tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, PowerPoint).
