Job Description

Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in technical or B2B sales. This is a field sales job. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical products and client needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking or cold- calling, build strong relationships with customers, act as a trusted advisor for technical solutions and ensure continuous client engagement.
  • Product Demonstrations: Understand technical aspects of the client’s requirements and provide a solution. Explain the features and benefits of products and solutions through presentations, demos, and technical documentation.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet technical and commercial needs.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare accurate technical proposals and quotations, and ensure effective assistance to customer queries.
  • After-Sales Support: Collaborate with service and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic sales approaches. Stay well informed about the product portfolio and technical specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and deliver outstanding service.
  • Reporting & CRM: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline development using CRM tools.
