Job Description

    As an Android App Developer Intern at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve developing cutting-edge financial applications. You will be based in Bhubaneswar or have the flexibility to work remotely. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive an Internship Certificate along with a stipend ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 based on your performance.We are looking for freshers or students who are currently pursuing B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or B.Sc (IT) and have a strong passion for Android development using Java/Kotlin. It is essential that you are familiar with APIs, SQLite, Firebase, and mobile UI/UX principles. If you are interested in building scalable, high-performance financial applications and eager to gain hands-on experience in developing live mobile apps, we encourage you to apply.Your primary responsibilities will include core Android development tasks such as building and optimizing financial tools and mobile applications. You will also work on API integration by fetching and displaying stock market data using REST APIs, implementing data storage solutions using SQLite/Room or cloud storage with Firebase, designing intuitive user interfaces following Material Design principles, and ensuring app performance optimization, memory management, and responsiveness.Additionally, you may have the opportunity to explore hybrid development using Flutter or React Native for cross-platform apps. Throughout the internship, you will receive an Internship Certificate and a Letter of Achievement, work on real-world stock market apps with financial data, enjoy flexible working hours with a fully remote setup, and have the chance to contribute to an open-source Android trading app.To apply for this position, you must be serious about Android and fintech and have a genuine interest in building impactful applications. Complete the Android Skill Evaluation assessment by creating a simple Android app in Java or Kotlin that loads and displays company data from a provided CSV file. Your app should include a list of companies displayed in a RecyclerView, a chart showing relevant stock data upon clicking a company, and utilize a charting library like MPAndroidChart or GraphView. For bonus points, explore our open-source project stockCharts and implement additional mobile features or improvements.You are expected to demonstrate proficiency in data handling by reading and parsing CSV data, building a clean and responsive user interface, and plotting dynamic stock data on charts. Feel free to add creative features or enhancements such as notifications or filters to showcase your skills. Utilize online resources for assistance, include comments/documentation in your code to explain your logic, share your code via a public GitHub repository, and provide a README with setup instructions.Your evaluation will be based on criteria such as code quality, documentation, app functionality, performance, UI/UX design, creativity, and the inclusion of extra features.
