Job Description

    Location Coverage: OdishaIndustry: FMCG Spices, Staples & Food EssentialsDepartment: SalesReporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales HeadSalary: As per Industry Standards (Negotiable for right candidate)Experience Required: 12-15 Years (minimum 3 years as ASM/team handling role)Job Objective:To drive primary and secondary sales, develop and manage the distribution network, handle a team of sales personnel, and ensure strong execution across General Trade and Modern Trade channels in the assigned territory of Odisha.Key Responsibilities:Modern Trade (MT): Develop business with modern trade outlets (local & regional) within assigned geography Maintain coordination with MT Store Managers, floor staff, and category managers Ensure execution of planograms, shelf displays, branding, and visibility at outlets Work closely with the KAMs for TOT execution, promotions, and new product launches Monitor fill rates, returns, expiry control, and in-store activation effectivenessTeam Leadership & Execution: Lead, train, and motivate the front-line sales force (SRs, SOs, TSIs) Conduct regular team reviews, on-field coaching, and performance tracking Ensure timely reporting of sales MIS, stock levels, beat coverage, etc. Work in close coordination with internal departments (Supply Chain, Accounts, Marketing) for smooth flow of operationsPreferred Industry Background: Candidates from FMCG Food Segment with experience in Spices, Staples & Food Essentials like Atta, Pulses, Masala, Grains, Edible Oils, etc. will be strongly preferred.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Life insurance Provident FundSchedule: Day shiftPerformance bonus Yearly bonusWork Location: In personExpected Start Date: 01/07/2025,
