Job Description

    Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in database systems, particularly MySQL, to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, managing, and optimising database solutions to support our enterprise applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDatabase Development and Management:Design, develop, and maintain efficient database structures and systems using MySQL.Optimization:Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and scalability.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver robust database solutions.Security:Implement and maintain database security measures, including user roles, permissions, and data encryption.Automation:Develop scripts and procedures for data migration, backup, and restoration tasks.Documentation:Prepare technical documentation for database configurations, processes, and standards.Qualifications and SkillsMust-Have:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience working with MySQL and other relational databases.Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.Familiarity with database backup and recovery tools.Knowledge of database security best practices.Preferred:Experience with other database systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.).Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).,
