Job Description

    Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and budget plans. Monitor financial performance through financial statements and reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions. Prepare and oversee periodic financial forecasts, budget analysis, and long-term financial projections.Accounting Oversight Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee the maintenance of accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other key accounting processes.Internal Controls And Compliance Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure financial data integrity. Conduct periodic audits and collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and facilitate annual audit processes. Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.Team Leadership And Development Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and a collaborative working environment. Organize training and development programs to ensure the team is up to date with industry standards, software, and compliance regulations. Conduct performance evaluations and manage recruitment for the finance department as needed.Cost Management And Efficiency Monitor operational costs and work with department heads to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.Revenue And Cash Flow Management Oversee cash flow management to ensure the hotel has sufficient liquidity for daily operations. Collaborate with revenue management teams to maximize revenue, optimize pricing strategies, and manage financial impacts from promotions and specialevents.Financial Analysis And Strategy Provide in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis and risk assessments. Recommend and implement financial strategies to support the hotels strategic objectives and growth.Technology And Systems Management Oversee the integration and management of financial management software and other systems for efficient financial operations. Ensure proper training on financial systems for the finance team and maintain updates for software compliance.,
