Job Description

    Logistics HeadRole & responsibilities
    • To ensure that the dispatches are being organized according to the scheduled plan
    • Responsible for controlling the overall freight charges
    • Responsible for the Order Execution within the scheduled timelines
    • Optimizing the dispatches through Rail and Road
    • Responsible for maintaining the statutory compliance with the relevant statues with respect to Central Excise, Sales Tax and ensure proper documentation
    • Responsible for coordinating with the Sales and Production team to ensure timely dispatches
    • monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
    • coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
    • analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand.
    • allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
    • liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers.
    • developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
    • Smooth running of the Dept.
    • Timely execution of orders
    • Monthly review with transporters
    • Keeping Cooperation & coordination with service depts.
    • Maintaining Zero accidents by identifying unsafe practices & unsafe areas.
    • Co-ordination with Railways for placement of rakes.
