Job Description

    As a Software Test Engineer at our fast-growing IT product and services company based in Patia, Bhubaneswar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. With a client base spanning 27 cities in India and 3 countries worldwide, we specialize in delivering scalable solutions across various domains such as EdTech, AI proctored Enterprise ERP, and Mobility. Join our expanding QA team and be part of a dynamic environment focused on quality assurance.Your key responsibilities will include understanding requirements and creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. You will perform manual testing on web and mobile platforms (Android/iOS), identify and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers to maintain quality throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing prior to product releases, test API endpoints using Postman, and maintain test documentation and reports.To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in manual testing and a strong grasp of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency with bug tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla, understanding of SDLC and STLC, familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, and basic knowledge of SQL for database validation are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required.Experience with automation tools such as Selenium/WebDriver, knowledge of performance testing or mobile testing frameworks, and an ISTQB Certification would be advantageous.
