Job Description

    As a QA Manual Testing with IOT and Firmware professional on a contract basis, your role will involve the following responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for IoT devices and embedded firmware systems.- Perform end-to-end system testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.- Test embedded firmware features, device connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.), and cloud synchronization.- Set up and maintain test environments for hardware-software integration testing.- Collaborate closely with firmware engineers, hardware teams, and software developers to understand requirements and improve product quality.- Identify, document, and track defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).- Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and test case design discussions.- Analyze logs and provide feedback to development teams for issue resolution.- Provide clear and detailed bug reports with relevant logs, reproduction steps, and supporting evidence.- Conduct firmware update testing (OTA) and rollback scenarios for connected devices.Qualifications required for this role:- Minimum 4 to 9 years of experience in QA Manual Testing with IOT and Firmware.- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.No additional details of the company are provided in the job description.,
