Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements to design robust test plans and test cases. Your role will involve executing detailed manual test cases across various platforms such as web, mobile, and APIs. Additionally, you will be required to log clear and concise defect reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA automation teams in Agile ceremonies is a crucial aspect of the role. You will also participate in requirement discussions and provide early feedback on usability and testability. Other responsibilities include performing regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing, mentoring junior QA engineers, and contributing to team knowledge sharing. Continuous improvement of testing practices and documentation standards will also be a part of your job.Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design robust test plans and test cases.- Execute detailed manual test cases across different platforms including web, mobile, and APIs.- Log clear and concise defect reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs.- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA automation teams in Agile ceremonies.- Participate in requirement discussions and provide early feedback on usability and testability.- Perform regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing.- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.- Continuously improve testing practices and documentation standards.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Total 7 years of QA experience.- At least 1 project in the e-commerce domain with midsize and large brands.- Good understanding of concepts like order management, inventory, fulfilment, warehouse management, etc.- Minimum 5 years of experience in web automation using Selenium with Java.- Minimum 3 years of experience in API automation using any tool like Postman, RestAssured, Cucumber, etc.- Exposure to basic cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure).- Added advantage if there is any experience with mobile app automation using tools like Appium, etc.- Added advantage if there is any experience in running automation/load tests using tools like Jmeter, etc.,
