• Checking of medical and health related details
• Signatures on medical examination reports of plant personnel and contract workers
• Signatures on form 32 and other documents as required by DISH
• First Aid basic training to employees including CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) through Mannequin (Doll)
• Counselling to employees after medical examination
• Training to plant employees as well as male nurses
• Inspection of First Aid Boxes of the plant and Ambulance as per the checklist
• Responsible for ensuring Health & Hygiene of the plant personnel
• Responsible for carrying out Hygiene audit of canteen
• Check all the audit related documents
• Suggest OHC related improvements to Head HSSE
• Internal audit of all OHC related documents
• Update / amend OHC related documents
• Auditee for OHC related system for external IMS audit
• Attend site safety committee meeting once in a quarter and present the status of performance of occupational health centre
• Compliance of all OHC related statutory requirements
• Co-ordination with nearby hospitals in case of an emergency

Required Skills:

• Overall knowledge of the industrial Occupational Health & Hygiene, OHSAS 18001 standards
• Knowledge on legal compliance, Statutory & regulatory requirements first aid
• Communication (written and verbal), People management, Pressure tolerance, Time management, Delegating skills, Decision making skills, Prioritizing skills, Cost consciousness
• Conflict Management, Learning skills, Team building
