Job Description

    We are looking for a motivated and analytical Data Science Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. You will work closely with senior data scientists and business teams to help derive insights from data, create reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and organize raw data from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.). Perform data preprocessing, including handling missing values, normalization, and outlier detection. Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create reports and dashboards that present clear and actionable insights for stakeholders. Perform ad hoc data analysis to support business teams. Statistical Modeling & Hypothesis Testing: Assist in building basic statistical models (e.g., regression, classification) and conduct hypothesis testing. Help validate models and interpret the results in the business context. Data Visualization: Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries) to create compelling charts, graphs, and dashboards. Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and product to understand data needs and provide timely solutions. Collaborate with senior data scientists on larger projects, providing support in data preparation and preliminary analysis. Tool and Technologies: Use Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Work with data management systems like Excel, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in a data analysis or similar role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn. Familiarity with statistical methods and machine learning concepts. Basic understanding of databases and data structures. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
