Job Description

    Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Quality Assurance Analyst will test web-based applications and API used by our employees and customers. They will provide support to end-users in the organization on using various types of software applications efficiently and optimally to fulfill business objectives. The candidate will tackle, document, and report application issues, as well as assist in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applicationsIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications. Test new applications and repeat testing for existing products. Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals. Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met. Document test cases and defects as needed. Work in a virtual team environment following procedures to maintain high standards for functional and usability testing. Implement test plans, analyzing test efforts for completeness. Conduct system integration, functional, regression, user interface, and performance testing on modifications and improvements prior to production releases. Analyze technical issues related to applications, using excellent customer service skills, problem-solving skills, and technical thinking/reasoning skills. Develop functional expertise on multiple systems supported by the QA and Support group. Thoroughly test applications prior to release or upgrades and regression test live applications. Measure and analyze application issues to resolve root causes, develop technical and training solutions, and report results to manager. Document customer issues, resolution steps, and collect feedback in support tracking software to improve identification and reporting of trends leading to recurring technical problems. Develop and publish Support Knowledgebase articles for internal and external users. Learn new technologies quickly, work independently with engineering and product management as required, following up on identified issues. Understand bug severity, prioritize and advance issues. Run manual regression test plans to identify bugs and defects. Record and maintain bug details in the Test Track bug tracking system.Collect and forward customer feedback and suggestions for application improvement.Who You Are:You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goalsFor This Role, You Will Need: Strategic Mindset Tech Savvy Forward-thinking LearningPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Minimum 1 years of experience in testing. Prior technical support experience required. Prior customer service experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, analysis, and testing skills. Experience with Microsoft technologies. Ticket tracking software experience. Superb communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of software development cycle and testing of web-based applications. Ability to work under stress and time constraints. Associates degree in computer or business-related field plus a minimum of three years of telephone support or a combination thereof. Experience in Agile Scrum environment is a plus. Basic development and SQL experience is a plus.
