    Role: Travel Agent / ConsultantIndustry Type: Travel & TourismDepartment: Food, Beverage & HospitalityEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentRole Category: Tourism ServicesEducationEducationUG:Diploma in TourismPG:Integrated PG in TourismJob descriptionBooks transportation and hotel reservations, using a computer terminal or telephone.Receiving calls and providing the passengers with the best possible routing for their destination and competitive fares available in the market.Helping clients with travel planning, business packages, vacation packages as well as travel advice & information.Dealing in vacation packages including flight, hotel, car and extra activities.Should make travel, accommodation and related bookings.Amending and canceling flights, processing refunds, re-pricing, making new reservations and booking hotels and other deals.Maintaining a high standard of service for the business and updating customers and suppliers via phone and emails.Confirm bookings and notify clients of luggage limits and insurance, medical, passport, visa and currency requirements.Issue tickets for travel, accommodation vouchers and all relevant documentation.Collects payment for transportation and accommodations from customers.Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where required.Plans, describes, arranges, and sells itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers, utilizing knowledge of available travel services and promotional techniques.Essential Skills:Looking for candidates with minimum 6 months of experience in the Travel Industry.Good Presentation Skills.Should be strong customer focused with good organizational skills.Should have strong computer and written skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Knowledge of Passport & VISA would be preferred.WorldSpan, Amadeus and Galileo knowledge would be preferred.With Regards,Venus Solutions PointMamta -hidden_mobilehidden_email
