Job Description

    Mechanical Design EngineerDesign & Development of Rolling Stock HVACQualifications: BE/B.Tech- Mechanical EngineeringWork Experience: 10 yearsWork Location: Mohali Derabassi (Punjab)Salary 50-70KNegotiable for diserving candidateOverview:Design and development of Railway HVAC considering all fitment and functional aspects.Must understand the design requirements for Railway HVAC equipment.Generate design outputs like Structure design, component layout, Assembly drawingsand BOM.This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with global teams to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.
    • Understand all aspects of Mechanical design requirements as per RDSO/CustomerSpecifications, Standards and compliance.
    • Hands on Experience of HVAC Structure design and professional exposure to welding standards.
    • Hands on experience on making HVAC component layouts, Heat exchanger mechanical design, component mounting design, Piping layout.
    • Expert user of Solid Works (3D modeling and 2D ). Hands on experience of AutoCAD.
    • Ensure that proto HVAC unit is assembled as per the design requirements.
    • Understand the project scope, requirements, evaluate and estimate the efforts.
    • Plan & prioritize work and ensure engineering standards and guidelines are adhered to while designing the systems.
    • Technical Documentation against customer specifications for proto approval process
    • Ensuring quality and timely release of all deliverables.
    • Coordinate with production team for necessary product changes & timely implementation.
    • Understand and follow the product development process.
    • Awareness of testing & qualifying standards for components used in Rail HVAC application.
