Job Description

    Job Title: API DeveloperJob Type:[Full-time]Experience Range: 2 years to 6 years Experience Level:[Mid/Senior]Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedAPI Developerto design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs that power our applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, RESTful and/or GraphQL API design, and a passion for building clean, efficient, and well-documented interfaces.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements.
    • Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
    • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
    • Monitor and troubleshoot API issues and performance bottlenecks.
    • Maintain version control and ensure backward compatibility.
    • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in API development using languages such as Node.js & Python only.
    • Strong understanding ofRESTful principlesand/orGraphQL.
    • Experience withAPI documentation tools(e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).
    • Familiarity withAPI gateways,rate limiting, andcaching strategies.
    • Knowledge ofdatabase systems(SQL and NoSQL).
    • Experience withCI/CD pipelinesandversion control systems(e.g., Git).
    • Understandingsecurity best practicesin API development.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Familiarity withmicroservices architecture.
    • Knowledge ofcontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience withmessage brokers(e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
    Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
