Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and update detailed production plans and schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and available production capacity- Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align production schedules with material availability, machine capacity, and manpower resources- Monitor and track daily production progress against planned targets and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, delays, and capacity constraints- Prepare and release production orders, work orders, and job cards to the shop floor as per the master production schedule- Conduct regular capacity planning reviews and recommend adjustments to production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery commitments- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging materials as per production requirements- Maintain accurate production MIS reports, capacity utilization dashboards, and schedule adherence trackers for management review- Identify and escalate production risks, material shortages, and schedule deviations to the operations manager with supporting data and recovery plans- Support new product introduction planning and coordinate production ramp-up activities with cross-functional teams- Ensure all production planning activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines applicable to the manufacturing environment
