Job Description

    As an experienced Sales professional in the electronics manufacturing industry, your role at 3M will involve achieving sales objectives by generating and converting incremental sales opportunities within your assigned territory. You will primarily manage your sales territory with periodic supervision and assistance, utilizing your effective selling skills to consistently achieve or exceed forecasts.Your key responsibilities will include:- Mapping out key customers in various electronics focus segments such as Consumer Electronics, Auto Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Telecommunications, and more- Understanding the sales eco-system movement for manufacturing in India- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and convert potential sales opportunities- Building strong customer relationships and becoming the single point of contact for customer service needs- Managing distributor and convertor sales teams in the territory- Meeting key metrics such as territory sales, account penetration, and area coverageTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:- Understanding customer pain points and adding value through 3Ms portfolio offerings- Having thorough product and application knowledge in the electronics market segments- Demonstrating expertise in competitor offerings and 3Ms unique selling points- Providing customers with insights on potential problems and solutions offered by 3M- Having a macro view of the industry and offering competitive insights to customers- Understanding electronics manufacturing processes and terminology- Possessing at least 5 years of experience in Electronics or related industries, with exposure to Automotive OEMs and related components- Holding a BA/BS/BE degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related fields- Demonstrating competency in sales goals, presentation skills, negotiation, territory management, client relationships, and customer serviceThis role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a company committed to innovation and creativity.
