Job Description

    Investment bankers help companies, governments, and organizations raise capital and provide financial advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions. The role involves financial analysis, valuation, market research, client presentations, and deal execution.Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis
    • Prepare pitch books, presentations, and client materials
    • Analyze company financial statements and market trends
    • Support mergers & acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, and fundraising transactions
    • Perform industry and competitor research
    • Assist senior bankers in client meetings and negotiations
    • Coordinate due diligence and transaction documentation
    • Monitor capital markets and economic developments
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
    • Knowledge of valuation methods (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities
    Preferred Qualifications
    • MBA or CFA certification (for senior roles)
    • Internship or prior experience in finance or banking
    • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or financial databases
