Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Manager, Data Science in the ELM AI & Data Science team at Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, you will be responsible for leading AI & ML Ops for AI products, focusing on model maintenance and new client onboardings. Your role will involve overseeing the deployment, performance, and continuous optimization of AI systems while nurturing a high-performing team of engineers, analysts, and AI specialists. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that AI solutions align effectively with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Establish clear goals and performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent, ensuring that the teams capabilities evolve with industry trends.- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI and ML models in production.- Develop processes and frameworks to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems.- Establish robust incident management and troubleshooting protocols to address system issues efficiently.- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize AI use cases and roadmaps.- Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure the delivery of impactful AI solutions.- Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities.- Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.- Drive adoption of automation and AI capabilities to improve operational efficiency.Qualifications Required:- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.- Experience: 7 years of experience in AI/ML operations, data engineering, or similar roles. 3 years of people management experience in a technical environment.- Proven track record in leading AI/ML system deployments and managing their lifecycle.- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, AI/ML tools, and DevOps principles.(Note: No additional details of the company were present in the provided job description.)
