The GitHub India field team serves the entire developer ecosystem in India - whether it is open source projects, professionals, students, colleges, startups, or organizations.As a Senior DevSecOps Architect on the GitHub India team, you will be working with some of GitHub s most innovative customers. You ll help developers and organizations understand how to leverage GitHub for their DevSecOps journey by being a trusted advisor for them.With your technical prowess, you will help onboard developer teams on GitHub Enterprise, remove technical blocks and creatively address pain points in their SDLC life cycle.You will also create curated content/demos for different audiences as per the customer and business needs and deliver this content in various online/in-person formatsThis will be an immense opportunity to create an impact on the entire ecosystem with the work you will do.Responsibilities:
• Present deep technical sessions (online/In-person) about GitHub Products and features for customer audiences to enable them to onboard the GitHub platform.
• Create content/demos for enterprise customers focusing on product features and the customer requirements
• Keep up to date with new features being developed on GitHub and use your knowledge of the needs of the customers to tell compelling tailored stories to show how those features add value and make their lives easier
• Leverage events as a way to teach customers about new and upcoming functionality
• Help customers integrate GitHub with their existing development tools and workflows
• Answer GitHub product/ technical questions.
• Help customers take full advantage of the latest and best GitHub Enterprise features such as integration using Actions, usage of Codespaces, Security features etc.
• Learn about customers successes and challenges and share customer feedback within GitHub as needed
• Become a trusted DevOps/DevSecOps advisor for Customers
Minimum Qualifications:
• 10-15 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or DevSecOps operational roles
• Ability quickly identify and solve technical and business challenges
• Ability to relate technical concepts to customers of all technical backgrounds
• Knowledge of Source Control Management (SCM) tools and workflows
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture, tools and workflows
• Experience working on developer focussed products
• Competence in public speaking and in presenting complex product solution and strategies in a compelling manner
• Demonstrated ability to quickly build valuable relationships and cultivate sustainable advisory roles
• Customer-facing experience
• Remote work friendly, with ability to travel up to 25% if and when needed
• Team-oriented and strong collaboration skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in leadership roles is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of software composition and security analysis, SAST/DAST tooling
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows
• Ability to articulate the value of DevOps and DevSecOps
• Knowledge of DevSecOps patterns and industry trends
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions, Apps and/or APIs
