If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleAdvisor, Software Development EngineeringWhat does a successful Application Specialist- Professional doAs an experienced member of Application Support for Cards/Payments platform, you will be responsible for effective management and maintenance of the Star Station application and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will be responsible for the optimization of Application performance, Innovative thinking to ensure platform stability to improve client experience and Basic of AI integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation and continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Linux, SQL, Database, Cloud Azure / Open shift, Scripting, Dynatrace, Dev Ops, and Splunk.What you will do:

  • Management activities like Incident, change, and release activities for mission critical application.
  • Deployment/Re-deployment/Upgrade for Commercial Center.
  • Alerts and monitoring (Splunk and Dynatrace).
  • Collaborate with other Developers and Engineers to build, evolve, and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline using mature CI/CD automation practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application issues and work with the development team and SMEs to resolve issues faster. Create, track, drive problem and defects task to closure.
  • Identify possible points of failure in the infrastructure/applications and improve/resolve the identified vulnerability.
  • Troubleshoot application-related support requests and escalate as needed.
  • Confluence Knowledge articles/documentations.
  • Automate the repetitive task to minimize manual efforts.
  • Certificate management.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Overall, 8 years of experience.
  • Experience working with Java, Linux, SQL, Database, Cloud Azure / Open shift, Scripting, Dynatrace, Dev Ops, and Splunk.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM concepts.
  • Experience working on monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Moogsoft.
  • Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into automation.
  • Experience with Modern scripting language like Python.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
  • Flexible to work in shift or weekend on business demand.
