Job Description

Provide business intelligence and data expertise to Operations, Client Services, and Leadership:

  • Actively builds and maintains strong partnerships and collaboration across the organization.
  • Responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to drive alignment in the development or modification of policies, procedures, or workflows.
  • Serve as a consultant, providing recommendations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for BI, data, dashboarding, and reporting needs.
  • Understand the business model of each operation to deliver customized solutions.
  • Partners with other team members in the development and continuous improvement of a best-practice, optimized, and effective development life cycle.
  • Translate business requirements, design, build, conduct testing, troubleshooting, support user acceptance testing, and deploy BI solutions via Tableau (or other BI solutions).
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the delivery of a cohesive, integrated, and aligned BI strategy.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
  • Create visualizations, reports for requested projects, ad hoc reports, analyses, and scenarios as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Drive continuous learning and improvement in the development of new skills and technologies to enhance how we deliver actionable visualizations, intelligence, and insights.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of experience as a BI developer or data scientist, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry.
  • Advanced SQL query skills required.
  • 3 years experience developing BI solutions in Tableau highly preferred and desired.
  • 3 years experience working with Salesforce objects and data highly preferred and desired.
  • 3 years experience working in data lake/warehouse solutions like Snowflake preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, etc.) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional certification preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • Expert level in MS Excel and advanced level in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, take initiative, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • High level of ethics, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
