Job Description

Come and Join us at Vestas!Power Plant Solutions APAC > SCADA & Cyber Security, APAC > Cyber Security & SCADA Infrastructure APACRegional Operations provides products and solutions to our customers around SCADA, Turbines, and Cyber Security to stay ahead of competitors. The department supports customers in the Asia-Pacific region to ensure the customers meet their goals. The Regional Support team is based in India, Australia & other countries of this region and the Cyber Security function is part of this team. This functions primary responsibility is to identify cyber threats and risks to customers assets and implement mitigating solutions to protect them.Responsibilities

  • Server & Network Management
    • Install, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers and network devices for OT SCADA systems
    • Monitor performance, ensure uptime, and troubleshoot issues related to OT SCADA Systems
    • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with policies
  • Support & Troubleshooting
    • Provide all level of support for OT SCADA server and network issues
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
    • Collaborate with extended SCADA Engineering team
  • Backup & Recovery
    • Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures
    • Ensure regular backups and data integrity
    • Test and maintain recovery strategies
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate system and network documentation
    • Ensure systems comply with organizational and regulatory standards
    • Assist in OT Cyber Security audits and provide necessary support
  • Project Involvement
    • Participate in infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Provide technical input on technology evaluations and improvements
Qualifications
  • University degree in Cyber Security, Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering
  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience within cybersecurity, preferably in operational technology or specifically in the energy sector
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certification, VCP and CCNA is good to have
  • You possess good communication skills
  • You speak and write English fluently
Competencies
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows(R) Operating System, Cisco networking devices (switches, routers, and firewalls), and Linux Operating System
  • Insight into Cyber security frameworks Such as C2M2, NIST, AESCSF, IEC62443 or similar
  • Troubleshooting - Ability to identify and define the source of problems through a strategic process and identify and evaluate possible solutions based on facts and sound judgment that mitigate the problem whilst ensuring delivery of required outcomes
  • Microsoft server and Cisco certifications are good to have
  • Motivated by finding solutions to meet customer needs inside existing design constraints
  • Good communication skills in English, both in speech and writing
