They will create accurate content for internal and external developers, write end-to-end product documentation, and produce engaging technical papers, blogs, etc., which will help encourage developers to write more actively. Additionally, this will provide relevant content for talent engagement through articles on Medium/Linkedin, etc. They will work alongside L&D to fill the technical product training gaps; the material will be useful for onboarding new employees too.Responsibilities

• Identify all important components of the product and related APIs.
• Document accurately such that other developers can use them more effectively.
• Analyze potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders, across different time zones, to create and maintain high quality technical content.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in content while adhering to the internal style guide and industry standard practices.
• Adapt to evolving content needs, formats, and cross-functional requirements to produce high quality blogs, technical papers, white papers, training and tutorials, and more.

Skills

• Engineer (B.E/ B.Tech) or MCA
• Language proficiency - English Honors/MA English level
• Medium-to-Expert proficiency in common CMS, authoring, and graphics tools such as, Adobe Suite, MS Suite, Google Docs Suite, Visio, Lucidcharts, Confluence, and so on
• Experience working with open-source languages and tools such as Git (Github/Bitbucket), Markdown, reStructuredText, Hugo (other static site generators)
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders, across different time zones
• Proficient in HTML
• Familiar with CSS
• Familiar with POSTMAN, SWAGGER, or similar API documentation generators

Experience & Qualifications

• Someone experienced in End-to-end documentation
• API Documentation experience, 3 years and above
• Strong comprehension of APIs, backend development, and related tools
• Adept at using common authoring, publishing, graphic tools
• Open source authoring and source code management using Markdown, restructured Text, Hugo, Git, and similar tools
• Contribution to open source projects is an added advantage
