Connecting. Growing together.Engineering Manager RoleEngineering managers are experienced individual contributors and established people managers. You will be key in bridging the communication and requirements gap between individual contributors and product owners.Primary Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

• Actively seeks to work with product management and business stakeholders to define long-term roadmaps.
• Influences engineering roadmaps with product counterparts while reducing significant technical debt.
• Develops plans and manages best practices through engagement of team and delivery of expected outcomes.
• Ensures code is up to standards across teams. Sometimes contributes to and frequently reviews code in important, core and complex components and frameworks.
• Demonstrates solid ability and influences others to choose proper off-the-shelf software frameworks and libraries when needed.
• Pragmatically applies testing philosophy across the team, influencing improvements to department-wide testing strategy.

• 3 years of experience in people management, at least 6 years experience in software development.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience; professional certification preferred.
• Experience in highly scalable, distributed, and cloud-native architecture for data pipelines.
• Experience in domain-driven design and data-pipeline implementation with a focus on application lifecycle management.
• Experience in developing highly reliable software, including telemetry, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
• Solid programming experience in Python, Spark, relational databases, and data lakes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and technologies.
• Working knowledge of testing frameworks and approaches, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Proven excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with product management and stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
