If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleSpecialist, Software Development EngineeringWhat does a successful Advisor Professional doAs an experienced member of Application Support, you will be responsible for effective management and maintenance of the Integrated Data team and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will be responsible for the optimization of Application performance, Query optimization, Server CPU optimization, and innovative thinking to ensure platform stability to improve client experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation and continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Cards/Payments Industry, ETL Tools (Talend), Unix, Linux, Control M, Cloud AWS, SQL, Hadoop, Database, Dynatrace, Splunk, and DevOps.What you will do:

  • Management activities like Incident, change and release activities for mission-critical applications.
  • Deployment/Re-deployment/Upgrade for Commercial Center.
  • Enhance Alerts and monitoring capabilities (Moogsoft, Splunk, and Dynatrace).
  • Collaborate with other Developers and Engineers to build, evolve, and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline using mature CI/CD automation practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and work with the development team and SMEs to resolve issues faster. Create, track, and drive problem and defect tasks to closure.
  • Identify possible points of failure in the infrastructure/applications and improve/resolve the identified vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot application-related support requests and escalate as needed.
  • Create Confluence Knowledge articles/documentation.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to minimize manual efforts.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Overall, 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience working with ETL (Talend), AWS, Control M, Linux, SQL, Hadoop, Database, and Middleware technologies.
  • Experience working on monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Moogsoft.
  • Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into automation.
  • Contribute to Release activities.
  • Experience with modern scripting languages like Python and basic AI knowledge.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
  • Flexible to work in shifts or weekends based on business demand.
