Job Description

Category SpecialistRequisition ID: 43718Job Location(s): Haiyan, CNEmployment Type: Full TimeSegment: Group FunctionsCFO Job Function: Procurement & PurchasingWork Location Type: On-siteAs Category Specialist, you will have a wide range of contacts both internally in the organisation and externally with your suppliers. You will manage plenty of ADM suppliers, and you will be responsible for supporting and developing the procurement category strategy in China & NEA which is aligned with Category Manager. You need to work as a ADM procurement window to support responsible sites.Job ResponsibilitiesCategory strategy development

  • Take lead on certain sub-categories under ADM category.
  • Deploy agreed category strategy supported by projects and operational buyers.
  • Ensure the availability of market analysis and supplier roadmaps.
  • Owner of supplier segmentation of responsible sub-categories.
  • Report on KPIs (Saving, PMT, spend on contract, ESG), follow up and secure that KPIs are obtained.
Category sourcing projects execution
  • Lead on ADM sourcing to get the targeted TCO saving delivered.
  • Lead negotiations of contracts.
  • Continuously work on optimization of China/NEA ADM supplier base.
  • Contract management in compliance with guidelines.
Supplier management & Supply Sustainability
  • SRM on major spend suppliers.
  • Periodically update supplier segmentation and Danfoss Vendor List based on fully aligned with stakeholders.
  • Carry on supplier workshop for continuous cost reduction and service improvement.
  • New supplier identification and technology trend monitoring. Supplier onboarding through sourcing process.
Stakeholder collaboration
  • Cooperate and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Build internal stakeholder network to provide strong support from procurement end.
  • To deploy the category strategies and indirect procurement process with fully alignment with stakeholders.
  • Drive regular meeting with stakeholders to explore saving potential and collect inputs.
Background & Skills
  • Bachelor degree or above, with at least 3-5 years category management working experience.
  • Procurement Process knowledge.
  • Strategic Thinking and negotiation Skills.
  • Strong communication skills (influencing others, idea Generation & Problem Solving).
  • Proficient in using various office software and basic knowhow of SAP.
  • Fluent business English, verbal and writing is a must.
  • Being able to speak Korean is a plus.
