Job Description

Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (English, Mandarin)Locations:Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China; Shanghai, ChinaMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT.
  • 4 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies, or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve customer needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
  • Ability to exhibit thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling as an engagement strategy.

  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes growth, identify opportunities for growth, manage risks, and create multi-quarter plans for growth.
  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Googles advertisers.
  • Coach junior teammates in the organization to become more proactive and expand skills that cultivate customer growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers, and product teams, and define business goals, strategies, and metrics for success.
  • Establish a partnership with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand the advertising investment.
