The ideal candidate should have experience with WordPress, PHP, and frontend technologiesRoles and ResponsibilitiesBuild and customize WordPress websites, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and adherence to design specifications.IntegrateFigmaSketch or design files into WordPress themes, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience. Develop custom WordPress plugins, leveraging PHP and WordPress API to extend website functionality and meet project requirements. Optimize website performance by implementing best practices, optimizing code, caching, and leveraging content delivery networks CDNs. Ensure good website security by implementing necessary security measures, keeping WordPress core, plugins, and themes uptodate, and monitoring for vulnerabilities. Identify opportunities to improve current systems or patterns through auditing, benchmarking, and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices. Take ownership and lead the development of newly developed features for current or nextgeneration platforms, collaborating with the team to translate requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines. Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, releases, and community trends to continuously enhance skills and stay ahead of the curve.Desired Candidate ProfileProven experience working in WordPress at a PHP code level, with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and custom development.Experience in designing and developing responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks e.g., Bootstrap. Strong knowledge of HOOKS concepts in WordPress and proficiency in PHP programming. Good understanding of MySQL and database management in the context of WordPress.Experience in optimizing website performance, including performance testing, code optimization, caching, and CDNs. Familiarity with best practices and defacto standard plugins in WordPress CMS development. Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring pixelperfect implementation of design files. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
