Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE To perform major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision. To ensure proper performance and standards havebeen met. Providing support with advise with repairs, conduct broad tests and maintaining repair equipment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Fully comply with QHSE requirement, policy and standard and wears required PPE (ensure the same are
    followed by his subordinates).
    • Ensure the work/service assigned are completed within timeframe.
    • Able to identify and diagnose error/faulty on equipment and provide immediate solution.
    • Evaluate mechanical/electrical problems.
    • Sound knowledge on the following division:
    Hydraulicso Knowledge on hydraulic pump and motors.o Knowledge in open loop and close loop system.Engineso Able to perform full/top end overhaul on diesel driven engines.o Knowledge in starting, lubricating and cooling systems.Electricalo Detailed understanding on operating and troubleshooting of electrical motor, generator andalternator (3 phase, single phase system).o Able to diagnose and recommend for upgrades and repair in electrical system of facility andequipment.
    • Perform preventive maintenance by schedule and meter intervals on each equipment in accordance to OEM
    requirement and adherence.
    • Basic knowledge on operating and troubleshooting or electrical motor, generator and alternator (3 phase,
    single phase system).
    • Ensure good housekeeping practice in the workshop.
    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
    • Ability to lift heavy equipment
    • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs immediately
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum Experience of 8 years
    • Specialises in maintenance/repair (Facilities & Machinery)
