Job Description

    As a Piping Lead Engineer, your role involves managing projects and ensuring their proper and timely execution. You will be responsible for issuing all piping deliverable documents such as Plot Plans, Equipment layouts, support designs, isometrics, and material requisitions. Your responsibilities also include performing independent reviews of Piping Design Deliverables, checking the work of subordinate designers, and ensuring compliance with approved design standards.Key Responsibilities:- Issue all piping deliverable documents including Plot Plans, Equipment layouts, support designs, isometrics, and material requisitions- Perform comprehensive review and checking of Piping Design Deliverables- Monitor and check work for compliance with approved design standards- Review the work of subordinate designers and drafters- Lead design review meetings and provide thorough knowledge of PIDs for Production design- Provide Piping Isometrics, Pipe Support/Hanger packages, and Material Take-Offs- Offer field assistance during design, planning, and construction phases- Verify Manhour estimates of design for cost control- Perform independent piping studies and equipment design checks- Review engineering studies, material quantity estimates, and vendor data- Attend Model Reviews with the client and utilize past experience to create error-free deliverables- Have high loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirementsQualification Required:- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Minimum 15 years of experience in Piping Design/Plant Layout in Oil & Gas onshore, offshore, process plants- Minimum 5 years of E3D Design and Draft experience- Minimum 5 years of Lead experience- Extensive knowledge of International Piping codes & Standards such as ASME B31.1/ B31.3 and EN Codes- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and writtenPlease note that experience in Construction/Site/Commissioning/Inspection will not be considered for this position. You should also have leadership experience in piping teams and be adept at Piping Manhour Estimation. Your focus on safety, accessibility, operability, and constructability in economic piping and equipment layout will be crucial for the success of projects.,
