Job Description

    General Job Responsibility
    • Managing the overall credit function of the zone
    • Implementation of policies, procedures, and credit underwriting guideline
    • Formulate, review and implement the Credit Policy of Hinduja Housing Finance appropriate for the market segment (working with primarily undocumented income/credit profiles) sought to be served
    • Maintenance of TAT, Compliance, policies and procedures as per NHB guidance
    Principal AccountabilitiesStrategic
    • Establish and Manage the Credit function using the principle of de-centralized assessment and centralized decision.
    • Responsible for ensuring sensible credit norms resulting in a high-quality of portfolio.
    Tactical
    • Credit underwriting, Collection, Fraud Control, Business support and Training setup.
    • Conduct risk and portfolio analytics.
    • Designing the process modules and systems to deliver.
    • Review and upgrade of product design.
    Supervisory
    • Managing large business volumes
    • Manage productivity and TAT of the team
    • Recruit and train the Credit Team
    • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
    • Loan operation activities
    • Banking and collection activities
    • Managing end to end disbursement process
    • Working closely with HO and Regional leadership.
    • To ensure adherence of file TAT inoperation
    • To designandimplement workflow
    • To tie-up with various third-parties for scaling upoperations
    • To actively coordinate with SalesandRisk teams
    • To handleandimplement improvements in Loan Management System
    • To manage payment processes (PDC, ECS, NACH, Ckyc, e-collections)andEMI banking
    • To handle dailyandmonthly reconciliation of GL, BankandLoan Account
    • To monitor the fund balances, forecastandmanage fund flowsandensure adequate liquidity for working capital requirements.

    • Must have overseen pre-banking, PDD, centralized processing, customer service, IT implementation, Analytics, Business Process re-engineeringandprocess improvement
    • Must have sound experience of at least 10-12 years in the NBFC domain, managingoperationsof small ticket size loans
    • Responsible for digitalization initiativesandautomation projects
    • Should identify best practicesandimprove internal systems
    • Lead, coach, developandretain high performance management team
