Job Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D and Application Engineer to join our team at a leadingwell-intervention equipment manufacturing company. The individual in this role will be responsible for theresearch, development, and application of new technologies and products, ensuring their successful integrationinto our existing range of well-intervention equipment. The R&D and Application Engineer will play a crucial rolein driving innovation, improving product performance, and providing technical support to our clients.Responsibilities:
    • Conduct research and development activities to improve existing well intervention equipment and
    develop new technologies to improve overall product performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineers, Project Managers, and
    Manufacturing personnel, to develop and test new products and technologies.
    • Evaluate and analyze market trends and customer requirements, and translate them into technical
    specifications for new product development.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their specific well-intervention needs and provide technical
    support and guidance regarding our product range.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, research findings,
    equipment manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Conduct field testing and validation of new products in collaboration with clients and internal teams, and
    provide necessary improvements or modifications based on test results.
    • Provide technical training and support to Sales and Marketing teams, assisting in product positioning,
    demonstrations, and customer presentations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to ensure
    our products remain at the forefront of the market.Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree
    preferred.
    • Proven experience working in a similar R&D and application engineering role within the oil and gas
    industry, preferably in well-intervention equipment manufacturing.
    • Strong knowledge of well-intervention techniques, equipment, and processes.
    • Proficient in using engineering software tools, such as CAD software, to design and simulate well
    intervention products.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including API specifications for well-intervention
    equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information
    to both technical and non-technical individuals.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet
