Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be working as a Senior Data Analyst, leveraging advanced statistical methods and descriptive analytical techniques to analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and solve business problems. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying data transformation components, orchestration pipelines, and data visualization dashboards. Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the data strategy aligns with business objectives will also be a key aspect of your role.Key Responsibilities:- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate insights and recommendations.- Perform data analysis and provide decision points based on the analysis.- Develop and implement data transformation components to solve business problems.- Maintain data transformation pipeline and resolve production issues within stipulated timeframes.- Work on data visualization dashboards and ensure their maintenance.- Create re-usable utilities for data processing and feature engineering.- Conduct hypothesis testing and statistical analyses to understand data trends.- Collaborate with Data Scientists/Data Analysts to perform technical reviews and provide technical support.- Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports and visualizations.- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate business goals into data-driven solutions.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or masters degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.- Minimum 3 years of experience working with a product development company as a Senior Data Analyst.- Minimum 5 years of experience with data transformation pipeline and data visualization dashboards, having developed, deployed, and maintained at least 5 projects in production using Power BI or Qlik Sense.- Minimum 3 years of experience and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, and Java.- Strong hands-on experience in SQL or data manipulation/query language.- Experience working on production-grade/POC projects involving Statistical ML techniques.- Good communication and comprehension skills to explain data transformation pipelines to stakeholders in a non-technical manner.- Experience in code version tools like Git, GitHub, GitLab for at least 3 years.- Minimum 3 years of Cloud Infrastructure experience is a must.Company Details:Avantor is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to furthering life-changing science through the dedication of its global team of 14,000 associates.
